星新一は並みのミステリー作家が
もったいぶって200枚かけて書くようなネタを
20枚以内でさらっと書いちゃうようなお人。
だから文章や構成があまりにも淡泊になりすぎて
一読したところたいしたことがないように思えるのだが
彼の作品を下敷きにして（要するに薄めたり伸ばしたりして）
何百枚ものエンタメ小説を書くことは容易なのだ。
